(VOVWORLD) - 62 racers from 26 countries and territories competed at the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship at Thi Nai lagoon, Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province, from Friday to Sunday.

This is the first aquabike championship ever held in Vietnam.
Thi Nai lagoon, 4 kilometers wide, is a great place for aquabike and powerboat races. The UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship includes several events – Runabout GP1, Ski GP1 for men and women, and Freestyle.
A total of 21 trophies were be awarded. Quy Nhon city will host the tournament five years in a row, from 2024 to 2028.
