(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs held an ASEAN flag hoisting ceremony in Hanoi on Friday to celebrate 48^th anniversary of ASEAN (August 8, 1967).

The ceremony is an annual event to honor ASEAN’s common values and demonstrate ASEAN’s determination to strengthen unity, co-operation, and relations between member countries. This year marks 20 years since Vietnam joined ASEAN.
