(VOVWORLD) - A prize ceremony for the winners of a writing contest honoring Vietnamese teachers took place on Tuesday in Hanoi.

The contest was co-hosted by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Vietnam Education Trade Union. Since the contest began 5 months ago the organizers have received more than 300 entries, which are real-life stories about teachers' contributions to education and society. 2 grand prizes, 2 first prizes, and 4 second prizes were awarded.
