With the theme “Cau River – Where lands converge,” this year’s event will focus on promoting connectivity between these localities’ culture and tourism. It will feature performances by ethnic communities living in the Cau River basin, a fair to showcase regional specialties, a seminar on investment and tourism development, as well as cycling and paragliding competitions.
At the event, visitors can also explore Bac Kan’s tourism offerings and attend the Street Carnaval Festival with performances by artists from the Tay, Nung, Dao, Mong, Kinh, Hoa, and San Chay ethnic minority groups.
Director of the Bac Kan provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Do Thi Hien said, "We wish to develop the region’s tourism and establish a unique tourism identity for the region via road connectivity and culture exchanges, plus travel agencies' promotion packages. We also hope that the seminar on tourism development at this year’s event will open new directions for the region.”
Localities belonging to the Cau River Basin include Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, and Hanoi.
