(VOVworld) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh on Tuesday presented Vietnam’s Friendship Order to two Belgian diplomats for their contributions to the friendship between the two countries.

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh (R) handed over the Friendship Order to Mr. Steve Stevaert.

Mr. Piet Steel (L) received Vietnam's Friendship Order from Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh.

The diplomats are Steve Stevaert, Minister of State and President of the Belgium-Vietnam Alliance (BVA) and Piet Steel, former Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam from 1990-1993. On this occasion, Pham Sanh Chau, Vietnamese Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg, also granted certificates of merit to several former Belgian ambassadors to Vietnam
