Also on Friday, the chief of the main prison in Yemen's southern port city of Aden and a relative were gunned down by unknown gunmen. No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack. However, Yemen-based al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) is considered the main suspect for recent attacks.
According to UN latest reports, Yemen’s civil war has killed 6,800 people, most of them civilians, injured 35,000 people, and forced 2 million people to flee.
