(VOVworld) – Cambodia will do its utmost to boost its traditional bilateral relations with Vietnam. At a meeting with deputy head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Nguyen Huy Tang in Phnom Penh on Tuesday, Tep Ngon, the Cambodian Senate’s Second Vice President, expressed his hope that the two sides would maintain close coordination, share information, and tighten inspection of the implementation of bilateral cooperative agreements. During the meeting, the two sides proposed several measures to intensify bilateral relations, in the interests of the two peoples and for peace, stability, and development in the region and the world.
The Vietnamese officials will stay in Cambodia till September 9.
