Addressing the event, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan said the Party, State and people never forget the great contributions of the soldiers and citizens who have sacrificed their lives for national independence and reunification. She said the gratitude is shown through preferential policies and treatment for those who rendered service to the nation.

She asked the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to recognize more revolutionary contributors, to make up for their losses.
