(VOVworld) – Deputy Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung has welcomed the cooperation between the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China and Vietnam’s bordering provinces. Trung made the comments at a meeting in China on Tuesday with with Peng Qinghua,  Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China.

The localities have worked well on the implementation of the three legal documents on land borders between the two countries, named as the protocol on border demarcation and marker planting, the agreement on border management regulations, and the agreement on border gates and regulations on land border gates management. Vietnam always attaches importance to developing the traditional friendship and comprehensive partnership with China, and Guangxi province in particular. Trung urged closer links between Guangxi and Vietnam’s bordering localities in border management, trade, education, and people-to-people exchanges.
