Chinese naval vessel spotted near disputed islands with Japan
(VOVWORLD) - Japan’s Defense Ministry said on Friday that a Chinese naval hospital ship was spotted just outside Japan's territorial waters around the disputed Senkaku or Diaoyu Islands in the East China Sea.

According to the Defense Ministry, the hospital ship entered the zone around Taisho Island, part of the Japanese-administrated islands claimed by China, at around 4:30 a.m. and left about an hour later. Japan has contacted with China through diplomatic channels and warned that such acts may unilaterally increase tension between the two sides.
