(VOVworld) – A joint communications program until 2020 was signed between the National Committee for AIDS, Drugs, and Prostitution Prevention and Control, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam Television, and Vietnam News Agency on Monday.

Press agencies will increase communications on the Party guideline, state policies and law, the responsibility of individuals, families, organizations, and community towards HIV/AIDS prevention.

They will help improve people’s general knowledge of HIV/AIDS, drugs, and prostitution, such as the risks, effects, preventative measures, and treatment. The communications program also aims to minimize prejudice and discrimination against HIV/AIDS carriers, drug users, and sex workers and encourage social support for them to reintegrate into society.
