(VOVWORLD) - The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025 will feature the largest number of participating teams in its history, the organising committee announced on Wednesday.

Themed “The New Rising Era,” the festival will enliven Vietnam’s central coastal resort city of Da Nang from May 31 to July 12. It will bring together 10 top-tier teams from some of the world's leading fireworks hubs, including Finland, the defending champion, Poland, South Korea, Portugal, China, the UK, Italy, and Vietnam.
Representing host Vietnam this year will be Da Nang Fireworks Team and Z121 Vina Pyrotech of the Ministry of Defense.
The other teams are Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB (Finland), Firma Rodzinna-Surex (Poland), Faseecom (South Korea), Macedos Pirotecnia LDA (Portugal), Liuyang Jingduan New-art Display (China), Pyrotex Firework (UK) and Martarello Group S.R.L (Italy).
As 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of Da Nang’s liberation, the annual fireworks displays will highlight the city’s aspirations and determination in the new era to affirm its position in tourism globally.
