Da Nang tour introduced to Indians
(VOVWORLD) - The "Da Nang Multi-Experience" tour was promoted to Indians at an event on Monday in the Indian city of Ahmedabad city.

The event also launched Vietjet Air's direct flight from Vietnam’s coastal resort city of Da Nang to Ahmedabad. Nguyen Thi Hoai An, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism, said that Da Nang city is placing special emphasis on the Indian market.
“Currently, one of every two Indians visiting Vietnam calls at Da Nang. This shows Da Nang's strong appeal for Indian travelers. We will organize promotional programs in Indian cities, such as videos of wedding parties held at beautiful destinations in Da Nang,” said Hoai An.

Da Nang welcomed 222,000 Indian visitors, 5.3% of the city's international arrivals and 50% of all Indian visitors to Vietnam last year.
Vietjet Air is the only airline operating direct flights between Da Nang and Ahmedabad, India. It operates two flights per week.
