Deputy PM meets ASEAN Secretary General, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister
(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son met with ASEAN Secretary General Kao Kim Hourn on the sidelines of the 2nd ASEAN Future Forum in Hanoi on Tuesday.

He urged the ASEAN Secretariat to play a more active role in engaging member states and promoting public awareness to make ASEAN a truly people-centered community.
ASEAN Secretary General Kao Kim Hourn affirmed the Secretariat's commitment to supporting member countries in implementing roadmaps, reviewing the ASEAN Community’s 10-year development, and shaping its future development plan.

Later the same day, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son met with Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Prak Sokhonn within the framework of the forum.
