(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/ Dioxin (VAVA) on Saturday received a donation of 10,000 USD from Maggie Brooks, a Swiss national living in Costa Rica, and her friends.

VAVA President Nguyen Van Rinh expressed his gratitude to the donors and said Vietnam always acknowledges kind-hearted people and their support for Agent Orange/ Dioxin victims and their families. Maggie Brooks supported VAVA lawyers to be in contact with the International Association of Democratic Lawyers in 2011.
Since 2013 she has encouraged her friends to raise fund for Vietnamese victims of AO/Dioxin. In 2014 she came to Vietnam to deliver 10,000 USD to VAVA to build houses for victims in Hanoi.
