(VOVWORLD) - Legal and historical evidence proving Vietnam’s sovereignty over Truong Sa (Spratly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel) archipelagos are being displayed in Ngoc Hoi border district, Kon Tum province, until next Thursday.

During the 5-day event, visitors are introduced to ancient books, the Nguyen dynasty’s royal archives, maps, and documents, which confirm Vietnam’s sovereignty over these two archipelagoes. It also features photos describing how Kon Tum people defend Vietnam’s sea and island sovereignty.
Nguyen Van Hung, a visitor, said: “Such an exhibition is necessary to educate people about Vietnam’s sea and island. It helps raise our sense of responsibility for defending national sovereignty”.
