(VOVWORLD) -The Full Moon Night 2019 program for more than 700 disadvantaged children was organized on Friday in Hoi An city, by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Quang Nam province and the People's Committee of Hoi An city.
The Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations were underway in Ho Chi Minh City. On this occasion, gifts and cash were given to disadvantaged children in the city.
The Hanoi Children's Palace organized the Full Moon Festival and arts performances for children in difficult circumstances. More than 700 young participants listened to Mid-Autumn Festival greetings by Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong. They enjoyed dragon dances, a comedy, a fashion show and an art performance.
The Mid-Autumn Festival was organized for Vietnamese children in Laos at Nguyen Du Vietnamese - Lao Bilingual School, and Bang Long and Phat Tich Pagodas in Vientiane. The organizing board read the letter by Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong in which he sent best wishes to children nationwide, overseas Vietnamese kids and foreign ones living in Vietnam.
