(VOVWORLD) - General Secretary To Lam has urged Singapore, with its strengths in financial resources, technological innovation, advanced logistics, and research centers, to enhance cooperation with Vietnam, which boasts advantages of a large and skilled workforce, vast market potential, abundant land and natural resources, and rare earth reserves.

Speaking at the Vietnam-Singapore Business Roundtable with a theme highlighting Vietnam as a destination for the era of science, technology, and financial cooperation, Party leader To Lam highlighted the significance of the newly established Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Singapore, saying the elevation of relationship not only ensures extensive cooperation across various sectors but also necessitates improvements in the quality and effectiveness of collaboration.

He said: "Vietnam highly values the role of private enterprises and foreign-invested businesses. We will continue implementing policies to encourage investment and ensure a favorable environment for investors. We are committed to addressing trade-related challenges with major partners to further facilitate foreign investment."

At the event, jointly organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore and the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance, a ceremony was held to hand over cooperation agreements between various Vietnamese and Singaporean agencies and enterprises.
