(VOVworld) – German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Germany will quickly resolve security issues following a truck attack on a Christmas market in Berlin last month which killed 12 people.

On Monday Merkel said the government needs to act quickly to ensure security and personal freedom. She said she wants a "national effort" to deport people whose asylum requests have been rejected.
