The resolution will set specific growth targets for localities and assign key performance indicators for ministries and agencies, he said, noting that local authorities are encouraged to aim for at least 8% growth this year.

“We must demonstrate the highest determination, make the greatest efforts, and take the most decisive actions to succeed. The comprehensive solutions outlined in Resolution 01 must be implemented with even greater ambition. To achieve the 8% growth target, all ministries, sectors, and localities must push harder, and every individual must double their efforts,” Phuong said.

He underlined the need to refine legal and institutional frameworks and tackle bottlenecks in the implementation of investment projects to unlock resources and channel them into the economy.
