Ha Long Carnival to dazzle visitors during national holiday
(VOVWORLD) - Fun festivals and cultural events are set to take place in the northern province of Quang Ninh, during the upcoming April 30-May 1 national holiday.

The highlight will be Ha Long Carnival themed "Connecting heritage, leading the way to shine". There will be a grand Ha Long Carnival parade, DJ shows, and a high-altitude fireworks display.
Showcasing intangible cultural heritages from the North, Central, and South regions of Vietnam, the festivity celebrates national identity against the breathtaking backdrop of Ha Long Bay.
Nguyen Ngoc Son, Vice Chairman of Ha Long City’s People’s Committee, said, “This year’s Carnival will make traditional culture shine. The stage design will reflect the magnificent beauty of Ha Long Bay, with seating arranged for 15,000 spectators. We’ll also set up LED screens to livestream the event to a wider audience.”

A high-altitude fireworks display will start at 9:30 p.m on May 1.
