(VOVWORLD) - The Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi has welcomed more than 30 million visitors, including 7 million foreigners in the last 50 years.

At a ceremony on Monday in Hanoi to celebrate the museum’s 50th anniversary, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong said, “Over the last half century, the Ho Chi Minh Museum has been preserving and promoting the heritage of President Ho Chi Minh, an important part of Vietnam’s cultural heritage treasure."
"The museum has successfully completed the task of researching, collecting documents and artifacts, and organizing exhibitions to promote President Ho Chi Minh to the public. At the same time, the museum has pioneered campaigns encouraging people to follow President Ho Chi Minh's moral example,” he noted.
