(VOVWORLD) - The International Press Center for the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory was inaugurated on Sunday.

Located in the Dien Bien Provincial Convention Center, the fully-equipped press center will support the 220 Vietnamese reporters and 40 foreign reporters who have gathered in Dien Bien for this event.
The Organizing Committee has also displayed 33 special issues of the People's Army newspaper, originally published at the front in 1954, alongside a photo and video exhibition titled "Happy Vietnam 2024".
In addition, a stamp set commemorating the anniversary has been released. It incorporates decorative motifs of the Thai ethnic group and numerous images that connect the province's heroic past to its prosperous and developed future.
Nguyen Thanh Lam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, said: "This is the 8th stamp set from the information and communication industry, a small but meaningful message to international audiences about patriotism, the revolutionary spirit, and the strength found in great national unity, showcasing Vietnamese bravery and intelligence."
