(VOVworld) - Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in the Lebanon on Tuesday to discuss a new peace plan which could help to resolve the Syrian crisis.

At a meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam, Zarif stressed the importance of coordination between Iran and Lebanon in ensuring regional peace and stability.
On Wednesday, Zarif met with Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil and Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri to discuss a new peace plan to resolve the Syrian crisis.
