(VOVworld) - Vietnamese Deputy Defence Minister Nguyen Chi Vinh hailed the Vietnam – Republic of Korea comprehensive cooperation, particularly in national defense.

At a meeting with Vietnam Country Director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Chang Jae-yun, Mr. Vinh called on the KOICA to work with Vietnamese agencies to speed up landmines and unexploded ordnance left from the war.
Chang said the Republic of Korea has goodwill to help Vietnam resolve UXOs. He said a KOICA delegation has conducted a survey of post-war landmines in the central provinces of Binh Dinh and Quang Tri and provided them with necessary equipment and technology.
