(VOVworld) – UN statistics on Thursday said the death toll in eastern Ukraine has risen to 4,317 since April and nearly 1,000 people were killed between September 6—one day after a peace deal was signed—and November 18. Statistics from the Kiev government show that the number of people who have fled their homes swelled drastically in the last two months to more than 450,000. The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe said the conflict in eastern Ukraine has killed more than 4,000 people, injured 10,000, and forced hundreds of thousands of people to leave their homes.
