NA Standing Committee convenes 42nd session
(VOVWORLD) - The 42nd session of the National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee opened in Hanoi on Wednesday. Over the next three days, the committee will discuss various issues related to organizational restructuring.

The Committee will discuss the amended draft Law on Government Organization, the draft Resolution on the Government's organizational structure for the 15th National Assembly term, the draft Resolution on the number of Government members, and the amended draft Law on Local Government Organization. Additionally, the committee will review and approve resolutions concerning the implementation of the 2024 Law on Organization of People's Courts and revisions to the draft Law on Teachers and the amended draft Law on Chemicals.
High on the agenda will also be the approval of a resolution on the organizational structure of the Supreme People's Procuracy, based on a proposal from the Chief Justice. It will also discuss principles, criteria, and norms for allocating public investment capital from the state budget for the 2026–2030 period.
Personnel matters within the committee’s authority will also be addressed during the session.
