NA Vice Chairman urges Soc Trang to apply advanced technology in agriculture
(VOVWORLD) -Soc Trang province should apply advanced technology to promote safe agricultural production and increase agricultural exports, said Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Uong Chu Luu on Tuesday at a working session with local authorities on the province’s socio-economic development in the first half of this year

He urged the province to call for investments in advanced and environment-friendly technologies to create higher-value products. The National Assembly Vice Chairman stressed the need to outline specific measures to develop local tourism while preserving traditional values.
The same day, Mr. Luu visited a Republic of Korea-invested garment plant and the Soc Trang Seafood JSC at An Nghiep Industrial Park. He also visited and presented gifts to two policy beneficiary families in Phu Tam commune, Chau Thanh district.
