North Korea confirms its latest ballistic missile test
(VOVWORLD) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Monday supervised the test of a new ballistic missile controlled by a precision guidance system and ordered the development of more powerful strategic weapons, according to North Korea’s KCNA news agency

KCNA said this is North Korea’s third ballistic missile test in the past month. On Monday morning, North Korea launched an unidentified projectile towards the Sea of Japan from near Wonsan, Gangwon Province. South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said the missile is presumed to be Scud-type with flight distance around 450 km.
