This is the first time the staff of the firm has visited North Korea as part of a "special trip for staff only" because Pyongyang has not yet fully opened to tourism since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
The trip aimed to discuss with partners, check out new tourism sites and find out key North Korea tourism updates, Koryo Tours said.
The firm said it hopes that in the coming days or weeks it will be able to confirm the opening of Rason to tourists.
Koryo Tours said its Rason tours are now available for booking for March and April. North Korea is set to open a beachfront tourist city on the Kalma peninsula in June to attract more foreign tourists.
According to Koryo Tours, North Korea will open to all foreign tourists excluding Americans and South Koreans.
