Chairing the second meeting of the Central Steering Committee for the Development of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation in Hanoi on Tuesday, the Party leader called for aligning Resolution 57 with Resolution 18 on streamlining the political system for greater efficiency.  

He urged ministries and local authorities to prioritize developing digital infrastructure, particularly the National Data Center on enterprises and land management.

Party leader Lam encouraged the swift adoption of effective scientific and technological solutions and reaffirmed Vietnam’s commitment to AI as a strategic, breakthrough technology, with immediate plans for research, development, and application in public administration, scientific research, and digital transformation.

He also directed the rapid formulation of a national program on strategic industrial technologies, including the establishment of research centers, key national laboratories, and an investment fund to support these efforts.
