(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh asked Da Nang city to map out a double-digit growth scenario this year during a working session with the Standing Board of the municipal Party Committee on Sunday evening.

At the session in Da Nang city, the Prime Minister requested Da Nang to soon clear the land for the north-south expressway to complete the entire expressway project connecting with Quang Ngai no later than August 30, 2025.
He welcomed the city’s proposal on specific mechanisms and policies for investing in building a Free Trade Zone and Regional Financial Center in Da Nang, which he stressed the need to be submitted to the Government in March and to the National Assembly in May.
The Prime Minister directed the city to adopt guidelines for investor selection worthy of Da Nang's stature, formulate a strict, public, transparent and legal process to invest in building Lien Chieu port, establish the city's innovation center to contribute to higher growth, train human resources, and develop and attract talent.
