PM urges swift implementation of 13 main tasks as Tet ends

(VOVWORLD) -Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that shortly after Lunar New Year holiday (Tet), ministries, sectors and localities need to focus on seriously implementing 13 main task groups and 67 specific tasks.

Chairing a meeting of key Government members in Hanoi on Monday to review the Lunar New Year holiday and discuss post-holiday socio-economic tasks, Prime Minister Chinh praised good preparations to welcome the 2025 Lunar New Year which he said have created momentum for the whole country to strive to accomplish major tasks this year.

He stressed the need to closely monitor supply and demand developments and market prices of essential goods and services after Tet to promptly have solutions to balance supply and demand and stabilize the market.

Efforts should be made to continue to promote public investment, especially important national projects and works, and national target programs; drastically and effectively streamline the organizational apparatus; ensure labor safety; implement social security policies well and be determined to complete the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses this year, PM Chinh added.
