Mr. Chinh urged continued effort to build a smart border gate and a border of peace, friendship, stability, cooperation, and development with China. He urged the forces to increase economic connections, customs clearance, and people-to-people exchanges with China's functional forces this year, the 75th anniversary of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations.
Prime Minister Chinh also asked the forces to actively participate in the movement to eliminate makeshift and dilapidated houses across the country.
After inspecting two expressway projects – Chi Lang-Huu Nghi in Lang Son and Dong Dang-Tra Linh in Lang Son and Cao Bang – the Prime Minister chaired meetings with ministries and agencies to resolve difficulties and speed up the progress of these two major projects.
