Nguyen Tuc, a member of the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee, said personnel preparation involves a number of new points.
He expressed his hope that “by training and fostering cadres through practical activities, we’ll end up with more qualified staff. For even better personnel, selected and trained cadres should be confirmed through votes of confidence by political and social organizations and the public.”

Associate Professor Nguyen Quoc Bao, senior lecturer at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration, said personnel work is extremely important not only for the Party’s political mission, but for national renewal, industrialization, modernization, and international integration.
Bao said: “those who are assigned to attend training courses for future senior officials have been carefully selected at the grassroots level. Our personnel training includes Marxist-Leninist theory, the Party’s guidelines, and practical issues of economics, security, defense, and diplomacy.”
