The Friday event showcased the diverse cultures, traditions, and cuisines of ASEAN nations to the Australian public.

As part of Vietnam’s cultural presentation, the embassy invited a Quan Ho Bac Ninh singing troupe to perform, highlighting this UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritage.

The Vietnam booth also displayed cultural publications, commercial products, souvenirs, and travel information. One of the main attractions was the Dong Ho folk painting demonstration, where visitors were invited to experience the traditional woodblock printing process firsthand.

The booth attracted many visitors eager to learn more about Vietnam’s iconic landmarks and scenic destinations in preparation for future travels. Others took part in a Vietnam-themed quiz, testing their knowledge and receiving traditional Vietnamese souvenirs as gifts.
