(VOVworld) – The central province of Quang Ngai held a meeting on Tuesday to celebrate the 40^th anniversary of its liberation with the participation of central and local leaders, war veterans, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and local residents.

Chairman of the Quang Ngai provincial People’s Committee Le Viet Chu recalled glorious days of the resistance 40 years ago, highlighting the victory on March 24^th as evidence of the Party’s wise leadership and the locals’ staunch spirit.

Chu urged Quang Ngai authorities and people to promote their achievements and intensify patriotic emulation movements and the campaign to follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. He asked relevant agencies to carefully organize party congresses at all levels in preparation for the 12^th national party congress.
