The report reflects the attitude of the Vietnamese business community and groups in other sectors regarding the transition to the market economy in Vietnam.
VCCI President Vu Tien Loc said: “CAMS 2014 shows that almost all Vietnamese support the market economy model. But they have seen the weaknesses that obstructed the positive elements of the market economy.
The basic measure is not to increase state intervention but to push ahead with comprehensive reform to escape from being trapped between the two economic systems.”
