Russia, Iran ink comprehensive strategic partnership agreement
(VOVWORLD) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement following bilateral talks in Moscow.

Putin said that the Iranian President’s visit to Russia is of special significance and the new agreement will contribute to bilateral trade and economic relations. The two sides will focus on implementing major projects, including those in the nuclear energy sector.
Pezeshkian said the comprehensive strategic partnership will provide a significant impetus for bilateral relations.
