Russian Ambassador to NATO Alexander Grushko said Moscow hoped for "an open discussion" on matters of shared concern while NATO wanted to discuss Russia’s role in the conflict in Ukraine.
This is the third meeting between the two sides in 2016. Russian relations with the West, especially with NATO, plunged to their lowest point since the Cold War when Russia annexed Crimea.
