(VOVworld) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that the Russia-China strategic partnership at the highest level was beneficial for each country’s development and the improvement of their global status.

Lavrov’s remarks came before the upcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to China. He hailed bilateral trade co-operation as their most successful field, and praised China’s objective and balanced stance over the Ukraine crisis. He said that Russia and China had mutual political beliefs reflected in their continuous high-level exchanges.
