Senior Chinese, ROK officials hold consultations
(VOVWORLD) - Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, held consultations with the Republic of Korea's top national security adviser Chung Eui-Yong on Saturday in Beijing.

Chung introduced his visit as a special envoy of South Korean President Moon Jae-in. They discussed promoting the denuclearization on the Korean Peninsula issue and exchanged viewpoints on China-Korea relations.
On Wednesday, Mr. Chung visited Pyongyang to discuss details of the 3rd summit between President Moon and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un to be held this month in Pyongyang.
