Son La honors Trung sisters
(VOVWORLD) - An incense offering ceremony took place at the Trung Sisters Temple in Thong Nhat village, Son La province, on Sunday, to express deep respect and gratitude to the two female generals, who made heroic contributions to national independence.

The ceremony began with a water procession from the Ma River to the temple to pray for favorable weather, abundant harvests, and good health. Participants watched displays of martial arts, lion and dragon dances, and drumming performances.
"The ceremony servesas a belief activity and a cultural tourism event. We will continue todevelop infrastructure, upgrade the temple area, and promote the festival among domestic and international tourists," Nguyen Duc Thien, Vice Chairman of the Song Ma district People's Committee, said.
