(VOVWORLD) - The annual Spring Flower Festival opened Wednesday at Tao Dan Park in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1.

The 12-day event includes 3,000 kinds of indigenous and foreign flowers and fish, many of which are rare species. The festival’s highlight is ancient yellow apricot trees and intricately trimmed bonsais.
Also on display are souvenirs and handicraft products of southern localities. Cultural exhibits, traditional food festivals, calligraphy demonstrations, and street shows featuring lion dances, folk art, and folk games will dazzle visitors until February 10th.
