(VOVworld)- Explosions damaged Syrian gas pipelines linking the Eastern and Middle region on Friday.

This is thought to be a terrorist act. The pipeline carries 3.4 million cubic meters of gas per day from Syria’s Eastern province of Deir al-Zour to Palmyra province. 2. 5 million cubic meters of gas has leaked causing a loss of 1.4 million USD. According to the Syrian Oil Ministry, repair work has been underway.
