Chavanont expressed his hope that Yingluck will accept the proposal to help Thailand escape its current situation and minimize damages to the country. He said Thailand should not hold Parliamentary elections ahead of reforms while a serious political conflict is taking place.
The same day, Democrat Party President Abhisit urged Yingluck and her interim cabinet to resign simultaneously to pave the way for forming a neutral government, conducting reforms, and holding Parliamentary elections, to avoid bloody clashes or a military coup.
