The 6th session of the 13th National Assembly is to open on October 21
(VOVworld) - The National Assembly’s year-end session will open next Monday in Hanoi.

Speaking at a press briefing on Thursday, the National Assembly Office Chief Nguyen Hanh Phuc said that deputies will endorse major laws, including amendments to the 1992 Constitution, the laws on land, tendering and thrift practicing:
“The National Assembly is determined to approve amendments to the Constitution following 3 sessions of review and public consultation. The amendment is open to two options on municipal government as it requires further analysis.”
Deputies will comment on reports on socio-economic development and plan. They will discuss and approve the Prime Minister’s nomination of his two new deputies, including the Foreign Minister and Head of the Government Office. Deputies will also examine reports on the development of hydro power plants, health insurance and spend 3 days to question cabinet members.
