Turkey condemns Israel, donors pledge 2 billion USD to Gaza
(VOVWORLD) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Sunday accused the Israeli Government and Prime Minister Netanyahu of perpetuating the conflict by rejecting the ceasefire proposal put forward by Egypt and Qatar, which Hamas agreed to, while initiating an attack on innocent Palestinians in Rafah.

Erdogan criticized the US and Europe for not exerting enough pressure on Israel to accept the ceasefire agreement.
Egypt announced on Sunday its decision to participate in a lawsuit at the International Court of Justice against Israel for committing genocide in Gaza. The statement urged Israel to adhere to its international commitments, ensure that humanitarian aid reaches those in need, and prevent its forces from violating the rights of Palestinians.
The International Donors Conference which concluded on Sunday in Kuwait pledged more than 2 billion USD in aid to the Gaza Strip. They promised to distribute the funds over the next two years.
