(VOVworld) – The organizing board of the Hung Kings’ Temple festival on Monday held palanquin procession from 6 communes to the Hung Kings’ Temple.

The procession which has existed for thousands of years is an important feature of the Hung Kings worshiping ceremony in Phu Tho province, a UNESCO recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The procession was headed by a lion dance troupe, followed by a team carrying national and festive flags, an eight-member orchestra, and the palanquin itself, accompanied by a delegation of local people.
