US President ends program on childhood immigration
(VOVWORLD) - The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program is being rescinded, Attorney General Jeff Sessions said Tuesday, because it is “unconstitutional” and gave hundreds of thousands of jobs to illegal immigrants instead of to Americans.

The DACA program was implemented in 2012 under President Barack Obama’s administration. It provided nearly 800,000 immigrants, who arrived in the US as children, a renewable two-year term deferral of deportation and a chance to work legally.
